EUDUG Autumn meeting on 30 November

There will be a meeting on 30 November 2009 at 2.15 in the London Office of the European Parliament, 2 Queen Anne's Gate at 2.15 pm. Our speakers on this occasion will both be from EU institutions, starting with Michael Duero from the Publications Office speaking on 'Eur-Lex: recent and future developments'. Michael will be followed by Christopher Fretwell, of the Court of Justice, talking about the Curia website. After brief EUDUG news items, the meeting will conclude as usual with refreshements and a networking opportunity.

Interested parties are reminded that due to EP rules attendance at this event is limited to members only; however, membership is only £25 for individuals and £35 for corporates, and joining at this time will confer membership until the end of 2010, giving you three meetings in all.

Existing members will be invoiced in the new year.

Next meeting and joint AGM on May 12

The next meeting will be held on 12 May at the usual venue and start time, i.e. 2.15 pm at the office of the European Parliament in Queen Anne's Gate, London.

Our two speakers will be:

- David Finch of Justis, on the range of Justis products covering different aspects of EU information

- Sarah Weatherley from the European Medicines Agency, talking about the work of the EMEA, its publications and the dissemination of information through its website

The meeting will also include the EUDUG AGMs for 2007-8 and 2008-9 (because it proved impossible to organise a meeting last Autumn, we need to hold the two consecutively). However, should take no more than 20-30 minutes.
